She is so lovely, so...perfect. It is hard not to be envious, to not feel lacking in comparison.

But she is also unmarried. Whereas her sister will be Lady of the North, while I am Lady of the South.

Maybe not so perfect after all.

Are there any of our guests who are in need of anything? Food, drink, entertainment? I would ask in person but I believe this may be more a more efficient method. How wonderful that so many of you have been made a part of this phenomenon.

It has sudden occurred to me, amidst the rest of the chaos surrounding today's festivities, that we put all that effort into birthday presents yet never discussed any for the Festival. I hope you will forgive me this oversight.

Dragons, it cannot be much longer. It is quite exciting to see all the final plans begin to come together. At times I can even forget about the unpleasant future that poor Isanae faces.

My brother's birthday was a wonderful affair, as always. I do hope that everyone enjoyed the event as much as I did. At the same time, I hope it will not dissuade Lady Phillipa from throwing her own celebration, as I still believe that Emeron is in need of such excitement.

Sometimes I do wonder if this wedding will ever happen. Progress has been made, yes, but still it seems so far off.

Oh my. I do hope others will agree with me when I say that play was simply dreadful.

For once, it would be nice for someone to realize there is a difference between not being an intellectual and being an idiot. Just because Kilian history or open-ended plays do not appeal to me does not make me stupid.

It's been a week now yet I still find myself unsure what to make of Measure for Measure. Certainly I found the performers to be quite entertaining and capable. Which leaves the source material as the cause for my uncertainty.

I keep coming back to the very end and the Duke's proposal to Isabella. I hardly noticed it at first but she never answers him. I've gone back and read the entire play and once that happens, she no longer has any lines or any direction at all.

It is very peculiar.

Poor girl.

The worst part is I'm sure she knows exactly what she's getting into with him. I would not wish that on anyone.

I am still not certain how many people will be coming but I believe this Thursday would be a wonderful date for seeing Measure for Measure. I hope that is acceptable to everyone wishing to partake?

I did find a copy of the play in the library; however, after reading the first scene and becoming quite convinced that I have never read it before, I decided not to continue and to just see it for the first time on stage, as it was originally intended.

I have been looking through the information Canti and I gathered about the current plays and have come across a production that looks most intriguing. It is a performance of Measure for Measure, a play by the Bard that I must admit I am not familiar with. It is reportedly known as one of his dark comedies.

I myself would be very interested in seeing it, provided others are likewise inclined.

Canti, do you know what it is that has everyone talking so much? I haven't been told a thing for certain but it's obvious that something is happening. Or may be happening, I can't be entirely sure.

We are certainly in luck when it comes to plays. Canti and I have discovered a production of Everyman that sounds quite lovely. It is a wonderful Northern play; I might even call it one of the best.

House Rhia. How perfect would that be? Of course, they did not come right out and say it, but surely it is strongly implied.

If only it was spring already and I could make the journey now. If only I didn’t have to wait until after the wedding. If only…

Oh, but it is a bit terrifying too, isn’t it? Leaving all this behind. While there are some people whom I would be happy to never see again in my life, there are so many others whom I will miss dreadfully.

Sister, have you heard the news yet? I’ve been invited to visit House Rhia, as soon as possible.

When I decided to do this, I had no idea there would be so many questions to answer. I have tried my best to answer all of them but I'm afraid I may have missed some. Others I must admit have little relevance to my life.

Preamble aside, here are my answers to almost all the "Wednesday questions," going backwards chronologically.

My favourite season is late spring, early summer, when all the snow and mud is gone yet it is not too warm for comfort.

On Rose Day, my sisters and I worked together to prepare a meal for my father, as we always do.

My...pet peeve would be being interrupted. My favourite food is veal and my least favourite asparagus. I am fluent in Trade, Dentorian, and High Dentorian. My favourite game is euchre. My favourite book is Pride and Prejudice. My favourite animal is a swan and favourite colour lilac.

My first memory...I remember this yellow dress I once had and how much I loved wearing it. Sometimes I wonder what happened to it.

There are a few others I have skipped, only because the answer is the same. When I am upset, I dance. Dancing is what makes me happy and it is my greatest talent.
